Of course, you’ll be able to download it and start it up on August 28 when it launches, but just keep this in mind if you plan on buying the trilogy today that you’re only going to be getting the second and third game. If you purchase the Mafia: Trilogy at this very minute, however, you’ll only get Mafia II and Mafia III, as the remade original game isn’t coming out until August. This includes a completely remade version of the original game using Mafia III’s engine, a remastered version of Mafia II, and a content complete Mafia III including all of its DLC and expansions.
Right now, the Mafia: Trilogy is available to purchase, which will get you the “Definitive Edition” of all three games. As it teased last week, 2K has announced Mafia: Trilogy, a collection of the three Mafia games all on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
